WHAT IS HOLISTIC MASSAGE?
The holistic approach takes into account your emotional and spiritual well-being to achieve a deep experience and sense of relaxation. As a Holistic Massage Therapist, I treat the body as a whole and use a range of techniques to meet my client’s individual needs.

THE WHOLE BODY APPROACH
Massage can unlock tightness and tension, as well as postural habits brought on by work practices.
One area of the body will affect other parts of the body. The way we breathe can also have an effect on tightness and tension in our bodies, especially in the shoulders, neck, face and head.
When working with my clients, I use a range of techniques, including gentle massage, deep tissue work, stretches and relaxation exercises to ease pain and promote wellness.
ESSENTIAL OILS & MASSAGE
I have always loved using essential oils in my home and receiving and giving massages. The use of essential oils is known as the art of Aromatherapy.
Aromas and the sense of smell can enervate, arouse, ease or calm and also have a very powerful effect on our mind and nervous system. The properties of different oils also have wide and varied benefits when used during massage.
The oils will penetrate the 7 layers of the skin’s dermis, reaching the deeper epidermis below and then into your bloodstream.
It is recommended to leave essential oils on the skin for a few hours post-massage to fully benefit from the treatment.
Good hydration post-massage aids in toxin flushing and waste elimination. You will have the option to use essential oils in all massages as I use Aromatherapy as a fundamental of my practice.
I use a safe professional base oil or cream.

“Tina is an excellent massage therapist. She asked what I was looking to achieve from her massage therapy which for me was relieving tension from resistance training in the gym. She’s tailored my treatment to help me reach those goals.
Her studio is clean and relaxing and easy to find. All round 5 star experience.”
